Just signed up for the 56 miler ... its quite early in my cycling season so this will be a good challenge. Any one else thinking of doing this one ?

I think I'm fundraising for the lifeboats by riding 45 miles or so to the boathouse and back in wellies. May is always really really busy. If you're free on the mayday bank holiday, consider popping to Cambridge about 9-10am for the Reach Ride. Very different to a sportive: more relaxed, more beer, more maypole.

Anyone else riding on Sunday ?
I'm going to be dragging myself around the 51 mile course. Completed a 50 miler on Sunday so at least I know I've got the legs, I think the course will be a bit more lumpier though.

Really enjoyed the event, well orgainised, good way marking, plenty of food at the feed stations. My front derailleur got stuck on the big cog half way round, which made the hilly last 20 very challenging. Being a mechanical illiterate I will be taking the bike to my lbs to find out what the problem is and hopefully learn how to fix it on the road in the future. I would would recommend this event to any one.
