Hi - First post here so I hope this is not a daft question!
Just looking for your view on my intended mod to a Cyclocross bike that I intend using for Bike Packing. I am looking for a set of wheels to swap out the carbon Tubs for a set of more practical clinchers and also to swap the 11-36 Cassette for a 11-42 as my 1 x 40 chainring set up means I could use some lower gears for hills when the bike is fully laden.
If I get a wheel with standard Shimano 11 speed road hub - Must I use a Road Cassette or will a MTB Cassette fit and will my SRAM Rival Road shifters work with an MTB Cassette?
