St Malo to Santander

[Wander Wheels]

Hi we are thinking of cycling from St Malo to Santander or one of other other ferry ports to Santander. Camping on the way. We have done Bilbao to St Malo and mainly kept to the coast. Does anyone have any other routes they would recommend. We've got a couple about 14 days to complete.

Hi,

If you're intending to cross Britanny, there's a very useful map here. You could hug the coast all round, or you could cut across the centre. The red road from Roscoff is very beautiful, for example, as it goes past the stunning Monts d'Arrée
Accomodation is cheap if you have a tent - there are many municipal campgrounds in France, and most are of good quality. Also, have you joined warmshowers?
