Nobody ever seems to mention it anymore. When I finished my apprenticeship (many moons ago) I worked down near there for a summer season at one of the camp sites. A glorious six months.

Last time heard it mentioned was a few years ago when a workmate mentioned she was off to ST with her mother. I had two holidays at Port Demaud across the bay when i was young and we got the ferry over a few times. first time abroad so definitely memorable

That is a lovely place with it's little waterways.

We had some great holidays in that area and agree with you, it was a lovely place.
We stopped going when the local traffic got too much.

Whenever anyone mentions it I think of Briget Bardo. She still lives there I think.
Nothing to do with her Incredible figure of course.....purely her artistic talent.
