Well I threatened to do it and today I did.
Went out in Beadnell Bay with KA Kitesurfing who were brilliant with us, great tuition and encouragement the whole time.
It was rather breezy, (not always apparent on the video), much more so than I'd have liked, and as such it took some time to find my feet as it were, but by the end I was stood up and paddling, not exactly confidently but paddling none the less.
I'd be interested to get down to Salford Quays when I get home and try it on what should be much calmer water, but for my first time it all added to the excitement.
