So, as I usually rest on my left leg, I've noticed that my hamstring (or back of my thigh, not sure which bit it is), feels quite tender - not crazily uncomfortable, but noticeable.

Saddle too high?

Cheers

Cheers - it's odd, cos it's an XL frame (I'm 6'1) and the bloke in the bikeshop fitted me on it etc. I've lowered it in the last week, so will see how it goes!

Or it could be a combination of short hamstrings heredity and cycling. There is a book out, called, appropriately, Stretching, by a fellow named Bob Anderson. An entire book dedicated to specific stretches for every sport and activity. There are pages for both cycling and mountain biking. Many are modified yoga asanas, it appears, and they work well for me. I have both short hamstrings from heredity and cycling, and I usually stretch after any ride of over 10 miles.

Ha, that's weird, I hadn't thought of that at all because I've got reasonably long legs.

Thanks for the book recommendation, will get that from t'library.
