An episode of Star Trek:The Next Generation once had Mick Fleetwood from Fleetwood mac in it dressed up as a fish alien . He's a big fan, apparently.

Don't forget Whoopi Goldberg had a role for a couple of series (as well as in the 'Generations' film)

She was, apparently, inspired to be an actress by seeing Nichelle Nichols as Uhura in the original series, & her actually being a leading character, that wasn't a Maid. waitress, or any otherwise minor character
I presume that this was roughly at the time, when Goldberg was a box-office star too?

I'd like to see Bill Bailey play a Klingon, he's halfway there already, with that receding hairline............................

Iggy Pop has been in loads of stuff, from the excellent (Tank Girl), to the woeful (Crow: City of Angels) via the surprising (The Rugrats Movie).

I recently watched all seasons of Star Trek: Enterprise, and was favourably impressed ***. I plan to watch DS9 some time soon, followed by Voyager. I'll be awaiting the Iggy episode .

DSN had to put up with B-list celebs after The A-Team beat them to the major talent as guest stars

Voyager and DS9 (and TNG) partially overlap in the timeline. While there's only a few interactions between the two, I'd still suggest watching in chronological order. The excellent DS9 can offset the relative disappointment of Voyager^_^

Can't remember him in Tank Girl, I know one of the rappers, was it Ice-T(??), as a Ripper - one of the Kangaroo hybrids

Ooh, yes!!! T'Pol

It's interesting how 'Enterprise' fits into the story-line; pre-Kirk, & not long after the first Warp-drive ships

What does seem odd with 'DS9' & 'TNG', is that given their almost simultaneous time-lines, that there's seemingly very little inter-reaction between the two

Granted;
Jean-Luc Picard appears in the first episode of 'DS9'
Worf transfers from the Enterprise to DS9, as does Chief O'Brien
General Martok is in both series

Dr Julian Bashir (DS9) crops up in a two-part ST TNG episode
Robert Picardo (Voyager) reprises his role as the emergency medical hologram in Star Trek: First Contact along with Etan Phillips (Neelix, Voyager) who confronts the Borg in the holodeck scene, and Dwight Schulz (The A Team) cameos as 'Mr Barclay'.
'Captain Sulu' appears in a Voyager episode & Scotty popped up in ST-TNG.

My personal favourite though, is Stephen Hawking as himself, playing cards on the holodeck with Einstein, Newton & Data. Nicely played geeky science gag:smile:

Interesting note that there is one person who has appeared in just about everything Trek in all it's guises. It's Majel Barrett, who was most famously known as Dr McCoy's nurse Chapel. However, a few years earlier she played 'No1', Enterprise First Officer in the original pilot episode with Jeff hunter as Captain Pike. she returned as Chapel in the ST movies as well as the oft-overlooked animated Trek series of the early 70's. She was also Deanna Troi's overbearing mother in ST-TNG and provided the computer voice in that show along with DS9 & Voyager. She also did the Enterprise computer in the 2009 film, shortly before her death. Leonard Nimoy comes a close second.
