Maybe that is it. Naturally produced HDL is protctive but the other stuff is not?
Confusing.

Ok, my thought here is that with natural increase in HDL being for good reason, doctors maybe need to test for increased LDL, not increased combined cholesterol. It would mean that if your LDL is not high, decreasing overall cholestrol puts you in increased danger, not less.

Have been on the statins for about 4 years now, I do get the occasional cramps in the legs, i think i must be due to another cholesterol check, I have spoken to the doc about coming of them and managing my diet but she said no. :okay:
