"Stay logged in"

I have no problems with the new forum design, other than one.

Why has the Login default been changed to "Stay logged in". When I am not on the site I do not want to remain logged in. Not a huge problem but bloody annoying to have to tick it every time I join the site or to make a point of logging out via profile.

Is it done to increase the stats on numbers logged in at any time?

I think "Stay logged in" must time out at some stage of inactivity or something as I had to log back in again today. Prefer to log in each time TBH but it's not a show stopper one little bit.

Yes, the stay logged in times out after a while, for me anyway.
@Rusty Nails try clearing your cookies in your browser settings, the stay logged in box may clear itself.

I've updated the login form to untick it by default.
