Stem after crash

hi, i had an accident, after that i have damage on the stem so i have question because its a carbon stem. Its dangerous? Speed was low but, i still dont understand how i did it. Handlebar grips is in perfect condition

Don`t know how safe it will be,but if you don't trust it or are worried about it then change it for peace of mind, and sod the expense.

I reckon you need a new stem. Youd bought a carbon one for its tres sexy looks, and now those looks are ruined. Structurally I suspect it's fine, but that's not the point - it is now the component equivalent of the elephant man. Next time you're having a lentil smoothie with your trendy hipster mates in the lounge bar of the Outraged Remainer public house, they'll see this distinctly unfashionable damage and will choke on their quinoa in outrage.
