Has anybody had the displeasure of working with people who are on steroids?
We have this knuckle dragging idiot at work who lifts weights in a gym so has to inject steroids. Then he can look good on holiday apperantly.
I feel companies should do drugs tests and terminate their employment.

Not worked with anyone who does, but hung around enough proper gyms to see it going on. Juicers are usually easy to spot. Steroids are an odd one, illegal to sell in the UK, but not illegal to possess or use. The juice is actually old hat now, all the real chumps have moved on to HGH and insulin.

Look on the bright side. He'll look like a bulked up thick necked puffy chump with poor definition when he goes on holiday. Then his internal organs will explode and he'll be lucky to make 50. If you really want to mess him about try and persuade him to start injecting synthol.

I bet he has skinny legs, some are so obsessed from the waist up they forget 2 very important things.

Oh yeah, a lot of juicers don't have leg day in their diary. Legs were never my best feature - plenty strong, but always struggled to bulk my thighs. My calves didn't do so bad though.

I started a thread about this some time ago, as I wondered if it was something cyclists would take.

Where I work, I'm the registered tester for drugs and alcohol but the test kits don't include steroids which is strange as it's a trade where some young guns feel pressured into getting bigger.

Yes he is like a pigeon. He says proper gear doesn’t give you any liver or kidney problems.
I guess HGH is too expensive for many. I’d love to see him roid rage and put a hand on somebody.

One guy at work very similar and actually believes that girls get hrt as they get older and we should get steroids ax it keeps us younger and fitter. I nearly believed it myself at one point.

Insulin? Never heard that before, does it work in the same way as steroids?

Used to be known as Hollywood arms, well round here at least, may well still be for all I know.
It will make your body process far more protein than natty so you can pack on the muscle so much quicker.

Actually, when I think about it he was obviously on steroids but he reckoned we should all be on test as he called it which I assume was testosterone.

Insulin helps to volumise each cell and has an anabolic effect. It also stimulates glycogen production which feeds the muscles during a workout. Big fat stomachs are often a visual indicator.

Matey sounds like a chump. Even the finest gear will make your anus fall off if you abuse it, which he is. If he carries on it will get him. A high frequency of early death is the key long term effect. He talks like a chump, and any brother of iron or sister of steel will spot him a mile off as a juicer. The only person he's impressing is himself.

How does taking steroids for the gym affect his ability to work and what's it got to do with his workmates? Yikes, people might want to terminate the employment of folk who like beer (or 6) next!

I've used the gym all my life and now at 55 I like to tell my workmates that I am taking my "roids" but am actually popping a vitamin tablet.^_^
