They were all great but some songs were practically duets between Steve and Brian and that's what made them special. I loved them when I was a kid, they made Slade look dull. My fave was Hellraiser and I remember being disappointed to find out the lyric "Nutter born raver" was actually "Natural born raver", "Nutter" was a lot better. And The Ballroom Blitz intro is a rock classic.

Are you ready Steve? Uh-huh
Andy? Yeah
Mick? Okay
Alright fellas - let's go! :okay:

How many of Sweet are left, without looking it up? Blockbuster was my favourite Sweet single, unfortunately It always reminds me of a very sad day in my life,in January 1973. I wonder if there's a decent Sweet tribute band. If so i'd like to see them.

Which leaves Andy Scott as the only original surviving member.
Dont bother with tribute bands, go See Andy Scott's Sweet. He/they put on a brilliant show.
