Right I am prepping a frame for paint but it's covered in stickers I have steamed one off but it's left a sticky glue behind anyone got any good ways of getting the other stickers off easier than steam and a good way of removing the glue ? Any ideas guys

I tried most things, meths, hairdryer, alcohol. All left a sticky residue. The one that did it for me was Fairy Power Spray.

You can get specific sticker residue removing stuff from homebase et al. But the best thing I've used is petrol - probably not that environmentally friendly, but dip a rag in some, and just wipe the sticky gunk away. I was about to say that it's cheaper too, but I'm not that sure any more.

WD40 works to dissolve the residue. Of course then you have WD40 all over the frame instead.
