Best pub to head for would be No2 Baker Street, at the top of Friar Street (just a couple of minutes from the station)

Or walk up to the castle (10 mins up, 5 mins back down in a rush) - the view from the esplanade is cool. And just down from there is The Portcullis, or head to No2.
