What's out there at the moment in the way of the off the peg? Alu frame / carbon fork, SRAM gearing, preferably a more relaxed geometry?

Mustn't be black

Can't ride  so may as well browse for bikes

Obviously not much out there!

Dolan will build you a prefissio with SRAM, getting expensive though with better wheels

The earlier boardman team road came with sram in 2011ish, maybe I'll look for used, it'll be the shopping bike when i fancy drops!

Cheers ck

I saw that but I think it'll be too small. I usually ride a 54cm being a smidge under 5'10

Check sizing i have the small and i am 5 foot 7 ", the sizes quoted are the size for the compact frame normally on halfords rather than the virtual frame size.

Might work with a longer stem...not sure I want to spend £600

Maybe my lounge is looking empty, with just the lonely Pearson, the whyte is being fixed and the genesis is still being built. When all the babies are home, maybe I'll be ok  it's not like I'll be riding for at least a month anyhow

For some reason boardmans not doing a new version and they have missed a few models out of the range compared to previous ranges so i am finding that price wise they are getting closer to mainstream bikes, my comp was £799 at "full price "2 years ago with apex and now the new comp is sora.

It doesn't need to be girly, just not black

I'd be happy with a 2011 sram equipped model, second hand if the price was right. Wouldn't really want to spend more than £400
