(the SmallestCub actually bought this at the school book fair with the money I gave him to buy himself a new book and an extra pound he borrowed from his teacher - but as a xmas pressie for his stepmum. This is the only xmas pressie I have actaully bought so far)

You have been busy with the Christmas shopping.

For those who don't know Crinkly, she is a naturally hospitable and caring person - I'm well qualified to judge being neither, by nature at least.

For those that haven't grasped it, 'Barnie 2021' refers to the Barnard Castle control of the London Edinburgh London audax, which is held every four years.

Crinkly, despite being a lion, worked like a dog there for the last two editions of the ride.

I had trouble keeping up the first time, wimped out this year, but did swing by to say hello.

Hopefully I will feel able to take a fuller part in 2021.
