Velo29-Altura Endeavour Sportive

Part of the Stockton Cycling Festival, why not join the hundreds of riders, of all abilities, expected to take part in the fantastic Stockton Velo29-Altura Endeavour Sportive? Now in it’s third year this really is an event not to be missed!

Starting at the festival event site at Riverside, Stockton on Tees at 8am on Saturday, 6 July, riders can enjoy a “Tour de France” style start as they are escorted out of Stockton on closed roads onto one of four scenic routes.

Online entries for the Stockton Velo29-Altura Endeavour Sportive are now available for all these events via the links below. Teams entering four riders will get the fifth free.
Details of how to enter by post or on the day will be provided shortly.

  • Short Easy Route (32m): View route map (pdf. 1.19KB)Entry £15 or £20 on the day.

All routes take in the beautiful North Yorkshire Moors, with the longest route including the 33% infamous Rosedale Chimney!
The event is fully supported by an experienced team and entry includes feed zones, neutral service, timing chips, indoor changing and showers, free massage and event t-shirts.
This is a great fun, friendly Sportive in a wonderful setting.

Is anyone doing this?

I have a hybrid bike I have been using to go to work and back on and doing other rides (usually 25miles ish)
It will be my first sportive and I am curious what to expect?
