I've got 17 days off from work at the end of the month, giving me 16 riding days to play with. I quite fancy retracing the first ever route I did. It was Stoke to Esbjerg in 2007, that took me 3 weeks and was 1000kms, I'd barely ever ridden a bike back then, so surely an extended version of that route (maybe a few hundred more kms) to Copenhagen is do-able. I estimate it would be about 900 miles in total.
I'm thinking that the clocks go forward before then, meaning a bit more riding time and if I pack light over the flat terrain I should be okay. I'm a little more competent on a bike nowadays too.
Anyone think its maybe a bit too much??
Route would be Stoke to Harwich, then I'd follow the North Sea to Esbjerg before turning right for a dash across to Copenhagen for a flight to Manchester.
