I occasionally stick on the remixes album, I quite like a bit of that.

MC Tunes is still going apparently, I couldn't go but it'd have been fun to see him split the atom.

the 12" "Fools Gold" was catchy.

"FooOOooOOOooOOOOOOOls Gold FooOOooOOOooOOOOOOOls Gold FooOOooOOOooOOOOOOOls Gold"

I was there.

it was catchy. They took all kinds of stuff, from Bootsie Collins, Sly Stone, Johnny Marr and the Jesus and Mary Chain and made really great dance music out of it. The reunion may or may not be about the money, or it may be that they think that all the infighting stopped them fulfilling their potential, but I'm not writing it off.

Where are the Happy Mondays these days? Now that would be a double bill to savour.

I heard an interview with Shaun Ryder a couple of weeks ago, he recalled a gig the HM's had done where he'd turned up at the venue, said I'm with the band, got on stage and it was the wrong venue and the wrong band!

Will be looking to get tickets for the tour, dont fancy the dates in manchester.....

Came to SR late, only noticed them when they split up but got the albums and enjoyed them.

Wonder who will support? Get the charlatans so Ian Brown can actually prove him and Tim Burgess are not the same person

Woo hoo. Tickets for the Friday sorted. I'm rather looking forward to it. Was just a bit too young to go to gigs the first time around. Been to see Ian Brown a couple of times and enjoy his solo stuff. Just hope it lives up to the hype.
