Stop-motion animation software

Have any forum members used/got/experienced any fairly simple (and preferably free) stop-motion animation software? My 10-year-old daughter has started making her own stop-motion stuff, just with her digi camera and her imagination as we've not shown her how to do it, and she asked whether we could 'make it into a film'. I found a site called Monkey Jam and downloaded the software but it seems a little complicated for a 10-year-old (I'm currently struggling with it but then I'm a forty-one-year-old PC luddite  ).
Any recommendations?

Check if you have Windows Movie Maker on your PC (chances are you have it already installed)

Link below describes how to make a stop-frame animation. Basically as long as yuo know the sequence of the photos (ie they are numbered), just import them inti the movie maker and it willcreate an animation flowing between each photo. Reduce the time between each photo to a minimum and it will appear as an animation.

I just sold my Hue Animation Stop Motion package without getting round to using it - plenty of interest on ebay which is usually a sure sign that something is good. It seemed like a very simple process.
