Stopped for winter

I know where my towel is
My direct route is 4 miles (quick big roads, mostly residential dual carriageway), but I normally do 22 to 31 miles depending on which way I go.
I am lucky in that my current favoured route goes through Central London in a sort of loop, so the roads are well lit.

I also have the option of going in a loop via Epping, but those are smaller bumpier roads and I need a better front light for it.
My current lights are good enough to be seen, but not to see by.

If you cannot find a route you like then we will see you on the bike next spring!
I will keep going though, as a push through the winter will certainly help with the fitness and the scalping of road bikes next hunting season

I also have a couple of miles of unlit 50mph dual carriageway as part of my commute. It always takes me a couple of commutes to get use to riding in the dark. I always ride with one light steady and one light flash, front and rear. Though I'm not sure about riding 15 miles along a (canal?) towpath!

I havent commuted to work along the two dual carriageways on my commute yet. Here, it goes dark at 7.30pm. So I have experienced it when commuting back from college, but I dont work that late.
TBH, I will commute no matter what the weather is. Unless it is gale force winds and I know I wont get anywhere.
