30+ is old. 40+ is very old. 50+ is not long left now. 60+ is probably going to die soon. 70+ is lucky to still be a live but is there any point. 80+ is mostly spent in hospital.

28. Sorry and all that but 28 is the age at which the body begins its rapid ageing process. It's up to the individual to slow it down or try to reverse it.

You can blame me for the inclement weather during the coming week. I'm out doing my bit for the Poppy Appeal, shaking the tin, so to speak, so I am out for hours at a time standing on street corners... I shall be wearing my thermals...

Looks great Gunner. We were at the other end of the country in Swinley Forest - my bike is shot because of the wet sand but it was a great day out.

I presume from your post that you are pre-pubescent ?

Go mountain biking when the weather's bad - you get soaking wet and covered in crap, but if you keep moving you'll stay warm and have fun!

We were talking about the rides we used to do in this weather while sat round the fire, drinking tea and watching the wind blowing the rain onto the windows this afternoon - Proper filthy fun!

As mentioned on another thread, I did a 22 miler today on my new bike, well and truly christened. I got soaked to the skin with a headwind that was unbelievable, but I did it and loved it ;)

Saw on another thread you were waiting on your new hybrid - well what did you get(you couldn't remember make/model etc)?

It's a Merida and I absolutely love him. I will get some pictures taken and post them on the appropriate thread. ;)

It's going to very stormy tomorrow saturday force 7/8 SSW gales in South and Midlands, with lots and lots of rain. Riders on the Storm - The Doors. Have got soaked 4 times this week so far pretty much every day. Still it will only be a SW 4 or 5 for the club ride if it takes place on sunday. At least at the mo it looks like it will be dry. The turbo trainer will more than likely be getting a work out.
