Wet and windy last night, now a very nice autumnal morning....

Forecast says the storms roll in after lunch... damp, sunny spells and light winds at the moment......(in Manchester)....

Anyone got any exciting weather yet ?

nasty nasty last night.. heavy rain and wind.. but hey.. didn't stop me adding a few miles on to the commute.. same this morning, and looking the same this evening.

Totally drenched riding back at 1:00 yesterday lunchtime, and it's getting going again now. Presumably it'll get to you people further north and east later.

The forecast doesn't look good for the weekend either.

I chickened out this morning and drove in because the weather was so bad and I'm glad I did the roads were flooded and I would not have been able to see a thing on the bike.

It rained most of the night here, so it was a wet commute this morning.

At the moment, it's really sunny and no rain!
(I'd forgotten what the sun looked like. )

It was quite heavy, but steady rain when i left at 6.15 this morning. Nothing compared with last night though.
It's raining now, and it's looking very black. I'm sure it will throw it down around 4 O'Clock when i leave for home.....LOL

Was looking forward to it last night, i love riding in wild weather, got outside - nothing, not a drop of rain or breath of wind.

Maybe tonight will be better.

Fine on the Ayrshire coast! Just been for a ride from Ayr to Largs (42 miles) with a nice southerly tail wind (cheated and took the train southbound ). Dry and mostly sunny all the way.

Expecting wet, windy & wild ride home in Manchester.

I fear that I won't get any sympathy from the drivers; I think I'll be lucky to get home without having to shout at anyone. Everyone rushing to get home in bad weather on Friday--now there's a recipe for bad driving.
