Waiting for the great leap forward

Coming through Wordsley, 2 lanes at the lights, queued traffic right hand lane, left hand lane empty. I ride up the left hand lane, Henleys wearing ape walks into the road from the chip shop. I slowed down, no tutting, nothing, but obviously startled him.
He starts shouting and waving his arms at me, not shouting anything, just shouting. I look at him bemused, he then walks over the road and narrowly avoids being squashed by a Discovery that had just turned right, stands and does exactly the same to that.
Makes it across the road to his Astra, R322 BKX, predictably parked completely on the pavement and speeds off.
So what's that all about ? Drugs ? Stress ? Wish the Disco had been a couple of seconds earlier.
