Also in County Durham: Wallish Walls, Quaking Houses, No Place (I lived there for a few years)
I lived in No Place for a while too, I used to say near Beamish when asked where I lived as I got fed up of explaining :smile:

The road name that always used to make me chortle as a kid was CLINT LANE where some wag always blacked out the space between the end of the L and the I so it read **** LANE.
