I got up and out early this morning, and plumped for wearing bibs and cycling mitts, because the beeb said it was going to be a nice day. Out into the country and there was some frost at the side of the road with my garmin reading 2c.
I got home with the temperature climbing rapidly and it hit 22c in this part of the country this afternoon, a record for March, with tomorrow forecast to be even warmer!
We were out in the car in the afternoon, and saw a lot of bikes. I even saw a couple of guys - riding separately- with aero scoop helmets. Do serious TT guys train with their helmet on? I suppose that makes sense to practice your position, but I had kind of assumed they would only use them when competing.
