It all started yesterday with what I thought was a broken spoke, spoke was fine the nipple on the other hand was busted in 2 "crosssectionally". Fortunately I has parts on hand to fix it, now I have 1 silver nipple 17 red nipples.
Then this morning i checked the weather before heading out, all good. As I pull out of town I enter a murky fog cloud, but as I had flashers and head lights no issue. Then I park my bike at work and the rear tube lets go, but at least I made it to work and I have the pump and tube to fix it.
On the way to work 2 poor animals where struck down as road kill. A cat and about 75 yards later a skunk both met their makers. I don't know if there was a Pepe LePew style chase prior to the road kill but I would like to think so. Mother of God does flattened skunk stink!
