My dear old mother used to quite like the racketty mid-90s crap that my little brother listened to (Pavement etc). She said she found it comforting.Wasn't so impressed with Soft Cell though..

One night a few years ago I was listening to the Kaiser Chiefs in the back room. I had to nip upstairs and realised that my son was in his bedroom listening to the Beatles. Went back downstairs thinking thats odd, shoulden't it be the other way round, me listening to the Beatles, strange.
