Stratton 653 Reynolds project

Some pictures of my Stratton frame. Took it to Strattons in Wandsworth on Monday and confirmed my suspicion it is a Chas Roberts build from 1980's.

I have made enquiries and going for a full repainted and transfers at Bob Jacksons in Leeds next week.
I will post more pictures once it returns.

Very smart . What colour have you gone for? Bob Jackson sometimes stick a "renovated by Bob Jackson" decal on it. Maybe enquire as I personally would only like the makers decals (oooops, transfers as we called them in the 70's) applied

Gone for original white colour as changing colour would deter from the originality of the bike.

Stratton's are my LBS (when I'm at work), lovely little shop and very interesting to hear they had frames made for them by another South Londoner. I shall enquire next time I'm in. Good luck with the refurb.

Many thanks. Bike due back in next week or so. Pictures will be uploaded for sure. Bob Jacksons apply a decal over the lacquer and can be removed whenever needed to.
