Anyone else having a problem with Strava not recording the whole ride, had a problem with my old phone so bought a new phone and it;s been working fine, set Strava for my commute home and only got a third of the ride. not a happy bunny.

Ive heard if you make your ride private and then public again, should sort that or if you crop your ride by one data point.

I gave up on using the phone for Strava. I'd put in what I felt was a really good effort on a segment, get home and find it didn't have enough data points to know that I'd completed the segment (traced out it would look like I'd taken a short cut when I hadn't.
Now when ICBA I just dump it into Strava from the SD card on the Garmin.

On the road bike i use the Garmin, but when commuting i use the phone, i don't fancy putting the garmin on the commuter, will end up losing it.

Why will you lose it?
The commuter is left where i can't see it, and one day i will forget to take the garmen of the bike and no doubt some one will lift it. the road bike never gets left where i can't see it. simples.

Having some trouble met Strava on my Xperia Active. Sometimes it'll do the job and somtimes it crashes right after starting it up.
Now I'm trying out IpBike. First impressions: more stable, better gps fix, more details.
