Funny you say that as I just found this.As I was looking up "peddlers" and ironically I pass through Poplar on my return commute. My inward commute uses a different route.

Maybe they are a group of cycling costermongers?

We are from Street and we peddle, hence the name Street Peddlers
What would you name a group Ian
Hint.....

A "Peddler"......

No, it's not being pedantic. They are words with two completely different meanings and to avoid confusion (particularly if setting up a cycling group!) you should really get it right. If you're going to throw "street" in front of pedaler/peddler, that makes it even more confusing, even if you ARE from Street. I would like to think it's all a clever play on words, but........

Not to be pedantic but.....shouldn't that be 'pedaller', with a double 'L'?

The older I get, the faster I used to be ...
Of course, membership may be restricted to travelling vendors from the vicinity of Street who enjoy riding bikes, then we'd be the ones with red faces wouldn't we?
