I am shocked, shocked, and thrice shocked that none of you have started a thread to record the wonder that is Harry and Aliona's Argentinian Tango. Shocked!

(my excuse is that I was jiving at a seaside fancy dress party with Boy George, and couldn't exceed my Camp Quota for the weekend....)

Yup, the right result on the night. Jason not in the same league but gets by with application and a good performance. Even Chelsee was not as good as usual despite being the most natural mover of the three finalists. I think four dances is a lot and the quality of the dancing in the final suffers. Thoroughly enjoyed it all though.

T'were indeed a veritable joy, that AT. And the final was as near as we've had to a Proper Final for quite some time.

But it still really really annoyed me that they won't use the One True Format. They should do their dances, and I really don't give a monkeys if it is 2 or 3 of them, apart from the showdance. Then voting stuff and assorted filler, then we find out who is out, they have their 'oh you're so lovely, here are your best bits' chat with Tess, and then y'make 'em get out there and do the blinking showdance anyway. And get to make all the 'didn't they do well, despite the terrible terrible pain of being knocked out' comments. And in the case of Zoe Ball, laugh at Ian Waite falling over and realise that they was robbed!
