Yeah, not going down that rabbithole tbh. Worse case it's going back to its owner as-is, I'll cut my losses on any reward and tell her to take it to a bike shop. Don't want to be the one responsible for increasing amounts of money thrown at something that could still turn out to be worthless.

Sometimes if I can’t straighten a wheel I completely strip it and start from scratch, it’s a fairly involved job but in some cases the only solution
