Not for the first time this month, I saw a woodpigeon heading towards the window. Still shocked by how hard it hit, though. To get a pic against the contrasting bay tree, it almost looks like a ghost bird sitting on the clothes line:

It didn't even look dazed afterwards!

Shoot them all. Then breast them and give them to the dog. Dehydrate and use them dog treats.
Kill kill kill. Their excrement is disgusting.

Approaching perfection from a distance.
A couple of times every summer, one of the feckin things hops in through the open conservatory door when no one's about, and then doesn't seem capable of finding its way back out! I've a pile of broken vases as a consequence!

But its not as voluminous and as disgusting as dog excrement and it is less likely to be found underfoot than dog excrement.

Wood pigeon is quite tasty. I understand that dog is tasty too.
Not my dogs excrement, it's double bagged and put in my shoulder bag. And my dog or any other dog does not craps on my window.
Wood pigeon breasted and cooked in a George Foreman...excellent. The dog agrees.
May I remind you we are not in Korea so the option of trying it is not available. Korea is to far to cycle for a doggy bag takeaway

Why go to Korea when Switzerland is a much closer venue for dog eating.

It's actually perfectly legal to eat dogs in the UK. Have a look at the RSPCA website. I'm not sure where to find them though.

Get a cut out profile of a hawk and stick it on the window. It scares off other birds. The RSPB probably sell them.
RSPB sell them, as do lots of other sources, but woodpigeons are too stupid to be scared off by them. They're probably too stupid to be scared of live hawks.
