Checked the weather forecast for today and a bit of rain was forecast but should be stopped by the time I go home, I inevitability got drenched! My overshoes didn't fit so I ended up feeling water squelching between my toes.

Yes the forecasters got today badly wrong here too. Bloody useless. I have the day off tomorrow and plan a longish (for me) ride - they've predicted rain for most of it, so I suspect it's good news- as it'll probably be warm and dry.

Same here, went to work this morning in my short sleeved top and come 5pm it was pouring down! Could have got a lift home but still decided to bike 10 miles home for the first time in the rain - this biking lark is very addictive!! Did think I should store some additional biking gear at work though.

I saw no cyclists on my way home last night, normally I would see and say hello to a few. They must all have a plan B!
I have replaced the newspaper I have put in my shoes 3 times now, soaked every time, they are now in the airing cupboard seeing if that will help.

They were at it again today, forecast to turn wet at 10am it started at 8:30am  Fortunately, I had to do a survey this morning so quickly planned a shorter commute of about 11miles so I could get up at the same time and meet my colleague on site. Which meant I got round before the rain got heavy , on another day I'd still have 30mins (7-9miles) to go :rain: Conveniently when I got to site he had been a bit enthusiastic with the equipment and drained their batteries and we had to call it off before we got too wet

No such thing as bad weather, just inappropriate clothing! ;)

I don't mind getting wet on my commute because once you're wet, you're wet! Although being cold on the bike is never fun

A bit of rain is fine, but the hammering it down it was doing was not! My cycling glasses kept misting up and covered in big rain droplets, seeing was an issue!

They are messing with the forecast again. Promised rubbish weather yesterday, I managed to miss the rain, then today, but got caught this evening. Now it's not hot till late this week. Pah.
