Thankfully I haven't forgotten to pack my medication as I normally do afternoons, however there have been occasions where I have done other things where I have accidentally left my medication behind and had to get somebody to get it to me.

I have also forgotten to pack a clean shirt to change into. So had to wear a rather minging one that I had used to ride in.

While travelling to a place of worship, I had forgotten to pack a set of allen keys. It was just my luck that one of the bolts of securing the rear pannier rack came undone.

Er, no!

I went to the pub one Sunday night and had rather a lot to drink.

I woke up with a stinking hangover the next morning and thought to myself that I wished it was the weekend so I could stay in bed and sleep it off. But it wasn't, it was a Monday, so I got dressed, forced myself to eat some breakfast and then set off for work.

I walked 2.5 miles to the factory, all the time thinking how quiet the roads were.

The industrial estate also seemed remarkably quiet when I got there.

I walked to the door of our unit and promptly face-planted on it when it failed to open as I turned the handle. Some idiot was playing silly buggers and had locked me out!

So, I stood outside banging on the door and feeling really annoyed. The last thing I needed when I was nursing the hangover-from-hell was to be locked out of work.

I don't how long it finally took to dawn on me...

It was only a Bank Holiday Monday!!!:blush::wacko:

I've never forgotten anything as of yet on the daily ride to work, ( that's me jinxed now, sure to forget my Keys and water proofs tomorrow) but went out on Sunday for a ride, and it felt oso odd, allmost wrong not having my bag, or buttie box, took a few miles for me to relax and not worry about them.

Underpants for me, but its not as though i dont wear them under cycling shorts...i just plain forgot to put them on in a rush to get dressed. Occured to me 1/2 way to work...;)

Forgot i took the bike once when i used to mix car and bike through the week. Got to the carpark...FFS...wheres the car gone !!!

Done the same in reverse once or twice.

Didnt forget to take the Cycleops Mag trainer to work one day, rode to work with it dangling over one shoulder

I've forgotten everything in my years of commuting: clothes (not all at once!), my computer, mobile, money, keys; the most amusing moments are when I forget that I was going to work from home and appear in the office, having taken the scenic route in.

Of all things, forgetting food is most annoying--grumbling stomach by 11 o'clock is not fun.

Makes me laugh - someone quoted a cow-orker about how he loved his grill because he could dip bread in the run-off fat and eat it. Two guesses as to the cow-orker's weight - skinny or obese?
