Spotted on the way to work this morning:
Someone cycling one-handed whilst holding a large orange golfing umbrella in the other.
Needless to say, there were no hand signals at the roundabout and with no way of changing gear, he seemed to be struggling a bit up the railway bridge.

If you go to countries where cycling is considered to be a normal everyday activity, you will often see cyclists with umbrellas when it is raining, only the English British would find this strange...

Now thats the way to do it, probably want a bigger umbrella though.

I saw some bloke transporting two gas bottles in Hong Kong.

Sure that would keep the motons away.

I did see a lady in Ireland once, riding an old sit up and beg bike, holding an umbrella. The same day, I saw a chap driving a digger home, having picked his girl up from school.. I know this, because she was sitting, in pink coat and clutching a pink schoolbag, in the front bucket of the digger....

And hes still holding the umbrella!

He needs that to protect himself from the anvil that a fast, flightless bird has just pushed from a cliff.
