suck or swallow?

Ok I'd appreciate some feedback please...
I've been getting my artwork printed onto cycling bottles and have just come across new printable bottles which have an integral straw in the cap
out of the two cap designs .... do you think people would prefer the cap with the straw ? (the straw does fold down out of the way and appears easy to wash clean
or the traditional water bottle cap

Is that traditional a non squeezable bottle too?

Non-squeezable bottles, with or without straws, require a good suck, which can be hard if you're still putting in some effort and impossible if you can't breathe through your nose. You also can't tip the contents over your head with a good squeeze and the straw just exacerbates all of those properties. The simple squeezable bottle is the best: In my view.

yep they're both metal... the process (sublimation ) requires them to get red hot...so not suitable for plastic - hadn't thought about the effort required for straw though.... cheers.

Iv'e got a Camelbak Podium bottle. Its more of a good squeeze and then swallow. It all depends what pressure you have set for it to release its contents.

I bought this type as it doesnt leak or require use of your teeth to undo the top.

Original for me too. I've got enough gizmo's on my bike already, and the last thing I need is to faff around with a straw.

I also think @ScotiaLass is a bit risque, but she's my kind of girl

I like to put the bottle to one side so I can where I am going and squeeze so it splurges out and I can swill round my mouth before swallowing. So traditional for me.

I'm with Scotia lass but I quite like the idea of sucking the contents from a straw that neatly folds away into a nice package when you're done.

I wouldn't use a metal bottle as you can't squeeze it. I like to drink as I ride along, so it's tilt to the side and take a large mouthful quickly.
