Bonjy baby, there are tennis courts all over the place down here ( not that I'm suggesting you move anywhere near me, you understand):thumbsup:


p.s. re serving - practise makes perfect or at least tolerably good.

yeah, there's one near me but it's 12 miles away, not too bad you might think but 12 miles in the wrong direction. Plus it's still high impact, and adversarial.

or for a more serious suggestion why not throw away your list of "criteria" - have a look at your local sports centre/in the yellow pages/online and just go and try stuff to see what you like quite often in life I've found the things I end up enjoying the most I would have ruled out had I written up myself a rather daft list of criteria which activities must meet.
 
Indoor climbing/bouldering. Of course if it leads on to the real thing it becomes more risky but it's a fairly good workout and indoors, reasonably safe. Can be pretty social too.
