How about put this stuff like this in your hazard perception test. Make it have some actual point. Footage like this would be good show on how not to take a exit to a motorway. There is nothing more pointless then clicking 5 or 6 times through a hazard to make sure you hit every point.

Don't worry she lived to drive another day.

She only broke her upper two vertebra and pulverized her hand. She woke up from coma and is now revalidating. Jasmien was shocked when she saw the footage and especially the reactions on Facebook from the general public. As you can imagine the general public are not in favour of poor old Jasmien. Lets hope that her destroyed hand stops her from driving in the future.

On second thoughts, probably not a good idea to show this to learners/young drivers. Their thought process might be along the lines of - "Well that's ok then; if that woman can survive that accident, then there is no real need to be careful as I will be able to walk away if I have a similar crash".

That's where i've gone wrong. I need clips where they die, what a huge oversight. I'm sure with aid of the internet I can find something to present to them :P

I do think some people simply don't have the imagination to understand what can happen to them. Or they thing it's like a computer game, where you just get to reload.

I think they see their whole lives like a computer game - or at least that what son # 1 seemed to do when he was younger.
