Suggestions: white MTB pedals - SPD and flat together

When my new C2W Whyte 805 turns up I'll be wanting to fit SPD pedals to it.

However, there are two complications; I'd like SPD and flat pedals together as it'll be used for both off-road and occasional local pottering about. Oh, and I'd like them to be in white to match the bike.

So far I've found a few, but not many. Suggestions would be greatly appreciated.

I'm in a similar position with the new N+1, although I doubt if I need white ones. After what I've read, I'd be interested if anyone has experience of the Click'R. From what I understand it seems to be easier to clip in/out. Would it mean you become unclipped unintentionally? I guess I'd be looking for something more along the lines of the Valvert, which I hadn't previously noticed

Got the white ones on my fixed. (bought 'em becuase they are white and have reflectors; I'm a tart with a tinhg for pedal reflectors on his commuter bike.)

My findings...

They need to be done up tighter than ordinary spd's for the same amount of security in unclipping. Unsurprising. Once tensioned to taste, and it is only slighty more turns of the screw than the ordinary, you don't unclip unintentionally and I've tried hard to provoke and accidental unclip as such things on fixed can be determental to the enjoyment of ones ride.

They don't stay white for very long and are a bit of a pig to clean if any sort of grease gets on them.

Other than that they are as forgettable as any other shimano pedal. You pedal, they turn off you ride.

This nice man in taiwan on fleabay sold me mine but now you appear to be able get a limited range of them from Chas Olsen in the UK.

Fit the mounts to your cranks and just swap pedals over as and when you want to. I use them on my brompton swapping between flats and spds according to taste and ride duration.

My only concern is that being white, how long will they stay like that. SPD cleats are quite pointy and I would think they will make a right mess of any paint on a pedal quick as. My M324 are quite scratched now. But they are great pedals for everyday use on a hybrid that's used for travelling to work and the longer leisure rides.

What about the old style SPD with the replaceable cage, not sure of the model there was even a metal cage. I run the plastic ones every once in a while when I want clipped on mountain bike but do like DMR's with pins when I'm out and about though
