Usual old man curse of staying up till whenever to find myself awake early doors.

Breakfast, collect a van from a field, fill van full of outdoor kit and food, head North for a few days.

same here, kept falling asleep from 11pm but managed to see the goals. been awake since 6. got to drive to Bristol later to take fridge and patio set to stepson's student flat

Morning, late ish start today after watching some football till stupid time.
Y o Y do they always leave it till the last minutes of the match then have to hang on for the whistle, my heart can't take it. Will be dogless shortly as eldest lad is kidnapping him whilst the dogs still with us. Sadly he's not got long. Day of pottering around doing the OH,s bidding i suspect, but at least its cooler.

Up late last night but were an hour ahead here too so 11pm kick off.
Alarm went off at 7 but made a slow start and got the 9.30 ferry over to Varenna.

Rode south from there around to Bellagio.

Rolled into the village find a docked ferry about to depart for Cadenabia which is a few miles down the lake from ours so hopped on that and ride home.

Chester raft race to support some friends who entered. Got egged by one of the rafts on it's return journey ! Missed me and my daughter but a poor elderly lady got hit in the chest and in her bag. Duly reported to the event organisers (others had reported it) and I've also fired off a email to the Manager of the Pub (from Chester) whose team it was.
