Off granite pushing day 2, Day 1 wasn't brilliant but hope for a better performance on day 2.
Long drive; sh*t weather. Windy too. Can this damn interminable winter end please?

Unsure why but up watching the gp after a decent wedding yesterday.

Best man speech went well and managed not to offend anyone. Potentially staying over again tonight but the groom hasn’t actually said what is planned so could end up going back with the current wife rather than her getting a lift with friends

yesterday's dessert was pineapple carpaccio with mango crémeux and yuzu sorbet, so the two can co-exist without annihilation and a shower of hot gamma and pions, but it seems risky

Morning, day of stuff and prepping comutte bike to save petrol and frustration in local roadworks. 3 local petrol stations all out of fuel and a fair few in the area the same. Weather looking dull and damp.

Couldn’t get into our local Sainsbury’s yesterday because the queue for the fuel forecourt was immense. I fear panic-buying may be back.

Got a trip south to celebrate my mother's birthday tomorrow. Won't be leaving unless I can leave with enough fuel to get there and back..

Hoofing it down here and windy too. DD2 making noises about becoming a fair weather runner and I'm inclined to agree.

Its wet and windy here so I haven’t bothered with the club run also had a bit heavy night due to being asked next door for a drink. There seemed to be a lot of Brandy involved. So it will be finish coffee then take Bertie for a paddle.

Bit of a lie in to compensate for the clocks going forward, now looking forward to the light evenings. Out for a bike ride shortly, just waiting for cycling buddy to turn up.

Nice easy Sunday, no driving anywhere for a change. Did a trainer ride, all I can manage at the moment till this sorts itself out. Still damned sore two weeks later...
