Morning Photonic, its the coffee doing its job. Woke up to seagull chick's on adjacent roof making a racket along with the pigeons and local magpies, whilst i love nature I wish it would shut the F### occasionally. Off to some old coastal defence fort later with the family, OH provides the postcode and i drive there. Although she regretted yesterday's choice of stoney beach she could hardly walk on. Hopefully she'll make it up. Now I'm going to try and nod off for a bit.

Found it hard to get to sleep and then found it hard to get up.
Off oop North of North into them thar hills. Another scorcher.
Might take wetsuit in case we might discover water activity opportunity.

Up early for a ride with a mate to avoid the heat, starting from his place and going back very close to mine before returning. Good excuse for a Sunday blat in The Panzer to get to and from the starting point. A few bits n pieces to do then may watch the tennis.

Completed DD2's DofE rides with a classic 'Tour des Plages Coigach' which used to be a whole day epic when the kids were small but which can now be dispatched in a couple of hours. I guess we don't have buckets and spades bungeed to the bikes any longer which probably helps.

Now to sort out some deflatables in advance of striking camp tomorrow.

Not enough coffee involved today.

Wedding completed in the heat, cooled off nicely in the evening, thankfully! Was knackered about 9pm , went for a short nap and woke up 2 hours later, just before it all finished. Morning spent tidying up and packing the car with loads of stuff. Home now with a cup of tea and some wedding cake. Leftover lasagne for tea!
Will find in the next week whether I was point zero for the next worldwide pandemic.

Evening
Now in t’Alps and it might be brewing for a storm. Mrs W and Brandon Cameron were not taken with Gite we’re staying at . Didn’t even have a kettle, a bathroom which a had such low headspace you could only sit on the toilet and you tended to bang your head when you reached to flush it. You couldn’t use the shower over the bath as there was no curtain and the couple running it an elderly but lovely dog which tended to poo anywhere and they didn’t bother to clean up after it.
So it was cut our loses and move.
