I blame my Sunday paper round, even before the days of supplements, for my lifelong bad back. Heavy bag, causing you to walk unnaturally kiltered over to one side.
Mushroom picking on our airfield, gorgeous field mushrooms, up at maybe 5 or 6am, walk a few miles, home for a fry up.

Before my teens it was bacon butties and tinned grapefruit (God bless mum!:okay:) for a late breakfast, then a walk around the 'hen pens' with my dad, smelling the newly applied creosote.

In my teens it was British Leyland rust bucket out the back, being patched up by dad with fiberglass resin.

If i get a whiff of creosote or fiberglass resin these days i automatically go back to the 1960's and 70's.

Amazed the brand still survives. I'd need the porky fit though
I remember my flared Brutus jeans in the 1970's. I had a pair of bleached one's that must've been a foot wide at the bottom!
