Will go pedal in the gloom at some point when the energy levels rise.

My energy level rose pretty high, yesterday, and not wanting to waste it, I used it to wash my handlebar grips. Those things get mucky, ya know.

Glad I got out lunchtime for a few km and didn't wait for forecast sunny intervals, which never came. At least it's still shorts weather, even if the arms were covered. Missed a late cooked breakfast, as they finished serving at noon, so chips had to make do.

I think we're stuck in a grey trough for the next few days, but at least there's still no need for heating for the next week, by the look of things.

"Anticyclonic gloom" doth aproacheth for next week according to the Met Office man - slow moving wall to wall cloud is expected so I'm waiting for the last bit of sun to break through later today for my ride.

Did it? Not here - having consulted the Met Office graphic forecast and my new favourite satellite cloud site, I decided that the MO was telling porkies about the 'sunny intervals'.
