Morning all. Busy day keeping OH happy. Bathroom guy coming around to do final measurements as they start in a couple of weeks. Big room being
re-plastered as well so house will resemble a bomb site, OH is just starting to realise whats involved. Bit damp out, so glad I rode yesterday, although im running later.

Hard frost and black ice here in Embra, just having breakfast and heard a shout , older neighbour fell on the ice. So out to help and ambulance phoned. Only arm hurt so walked her back to her house. Ambulance wait was long, she would have died of hypothermia before the ambulance arrived! Family will take her to A&E.
Lethally slippy out there!

Went for a run after coffee, breakfast and sing while we're (still) winning watch of MOTD.

Highlight was the distant sound of ice cracking that grew as a determined looking sea kayaker approached breaking a path for a following flotilla of fellow paddlers.

Brave going for a run , unless your side of town is less slippery than here! I suspect A&E is going to be busy today.
