Late? Ha - it is less than 12 hours since I got up!

I can confirm that, at the time of posting (in the UK), it definitely IS Sunday.

Def Sunday here, 8am so time to put some running kit on and get rid of yesterdays ale. Looks warm out, so beach day - wonder if today’s lunch will beat yesterdays amazing fish curry for just less than £4 😳😎

Morning Peeps,

Up a bit earlier than is customary on a Sunday as off out riding with a mate in a bit. Got to make the most of these non-rainy days. Later is undecided, might be a spot more sim racing.

Since retiring, days blend into each other. I was suprised to find that yesterday was Saturday. I only know because it was on the cars digital display.

Mostly torpor and coffee for me today, looking out of the widow at another grey & wet day, but probably going to a jazz bar gig this evening to hear ex-colleagues (and still-friends) do some jazz.

It's a brighter shade of grey here today.

Got some friends with a new mo-ho coming over to test my van envy response soon. They like coffee and a decent walk so looking forward to it.

I expect more effort @Drago. This is not nearly annoying enough.

Anyhoo, I can see some blue sky! Seems as though the slightly brighter grey is lifting. For how long, I dunno.
Mrs P's birthday today. We shall be partaking in cake and I will be taking her out for lunch sometime this week.

First: coffee

I have never eaten a fish curry!

I had one once, at a hotel in Ghana a few hours before the long flight home. It was delicious but at the airport I started feeling that worrying internal rumbling. Something serious was brewing.

I spent almost the entire flight on the toilet. It was so bad that I didn't bother going back to my seat after each visit. I had to immediately rejoin the queue for the loo each time because this curry's revenge was never-ending. Honestly, I had an arse like the start of Bonanza.

It was only one plate of food and I couldn't understand (and still don't) where all this sh*t was coming from.

I wish I could remember the name of it as it was a local specialty. I'd ask Cyclops if he was still around. (RIP)

Maybe the Ghanaians didn't like you.
I like fish curry. Never had a n issue. The whole point of spices in warm climates is that meat doesn't keep.

Had that from a not-fish curry in Devon. Cycling home thought "Hmm, I think I'll make it home...", then realised I definitely couldn't... fortunately there was enough cover for an emergency download. My system didn't make any concessions for me wanting to sleep when I got home, and, like you, I wondered how there could be any more by 6am and how the lower intestines could be quite so painful.
