Bugger. Overslept. Bugger. I woke up at 7 a.m but couldn't get out of bed. In my defence I didn't sleep Fri/Sat and was awake for 36 hours. I didn't get to bed till nearly 1 a.m, so it was probably best that I slept in for longer. Look forward to doing this again Doc, are you going to make it a regular ride?

Very enjoyable leisurely ride with a nice halfway feast, good to meet some new CC'ers for the first time. Very lucky with the weather, although a little windy at times. Must do it again! Thanks Doc

Thanks to the Doctor for a lovely route. I would definitely be keen to do more of these, especially if I get the route home a little more sorted! Thanks to a rather exciting down hill bit leading me to miss a turn, I lead TDr1nka to a rather nasty dual carriageway, then U turned to take an alternative route, which turned to grass and had a 5 bar gate at the end - these things are tricky in road shoes!

We eventually got back on track and made to Potters Bar in one piece despite the head wind and hills (Essenden being particularly troublesome!). 45 ish miles at a guess.

Another thanks to the Doctor, good to meet you all & the weather was kind, apart from the unkind wind which made constant appearances. Excellent choice of tea/food stop & hope to meet up again soon.

Glad you all liked it!!

Since the last two seemed to be a success I'll start doing these as a regular thing.
There's a few tea stops we've not been to yet, and a number of different ways of getting to them.
Expect to see a thread in the next few days or so...
