There's an article about cycle cams on P 6 today-quite a long piece too. It mentions how video evidence can encourage the Police to act, as well as the problems cyclists encounter in seeking prosecutions for moton muppetry. I suspect our very own Magnatom is featured- tops marks that man if it's you (I'm sure I recognise that lorry pic from one Magnatom incident- could be wrong though). Although I don't have a camera, it seems to me the more motons who know some of us have them the better to capture their often breathtakingly idiotic behaviour. May make a few of'em think twice- assuming optimistically they are capable of thought that is!

Two of our forum members are mentioned (Magnatom and BenBorp), plus the Cycling Lawyer! Ben has been interviewed in some small extent. On the whole positive, mentioned the crash for cash scams too!

Interesting article, and for once quite positive, but it doesn't say a massive amount. Hopefully the idea that cyclists are cycling round with cameras might get into the subconscious of some drivers though.

I have a scan of the same page as Origamist's including the headline ("Smile rogue drivers, you're on cycle camera") Ben's tousled hair in case anyone really wants to see it! Oddly enough, the photo of Ben is annotated "JEREMY YOUNG/DAVE BRENNAN". Bit of a mix-up?

We had this 'copyright' debate a few weeks ago. I doubt very much if Murdock & co would bother to pursue this 'fair use' citation with its full accreditation of the ST.

I'm perplexed at the reference to "£15 cameras ... no bigger than a tube of lipstick". Having experimented with my cheapo ATC2K (under £100) I conclude it's not man enough for the job. You need a fairly meaty camera for real evidence. Or am I wrong? - technology ever advances on....
